So you would like to not forget Krishna, we can’t forget. He is so wonderful, how could you forget Him? Forget everything else, it’s all rubbish, all temporary, cause of suffering .
As many living entities are there, there are that many Krishna. He is there in the courtyard of every heart – waiting for us to look away from sense enjoyment and turn towards Him.
So japa is not just the time to sit around, just sitting the round. Your whole being, your whole existence is being used in action. Body, mind and intelligence. So use the intelligence.
Due to laziness the mind doesn’t want to chant. Laziness could be of varieties. You should be around those who are enthusiastic. Then what happens? Chanting is enthused and your laziness runs away .
As you sing the songs of Narottama Dasa Thakura all the teachings of the Vedas are there. How much surrendered souls we are, how much purified souls we are- to that degree we understand that song of Narottama Dasa Thakura.
