So once we get the bija, bhakti lata bija, we want to make sure that the bija doesn’t remain just a bija, a seed all the time. That seed has to sprout. From the seed comes the seedling and then it has to grow in the land, become a bush before it turns into a tree and finally you could pick up some fruits of love of Godhead.

Our bhakti is protected in the association of devotees. Bhakti grows, flourishes, thrives in the association of devotees.
Materialism cannot satisfy us. It could satisfy our senses, our mind. Some entertainment, some body satisfaction, mind satisfaction – but soul’s satisfaction? Not possible.
If you have become guru, mata, pita, then you have to liberate your dependants. You have to remove them from the jaws of death in this lifetime as well as future deaths. If you do not do this, then whatever you do, even animals do. Food, clothing and shelter is provided by parents in every species.
Devotional service, beginning with the chanting of the holy name of the Lord, is the ultimate religious principle for the living entity in the human society.
We should contemplate on katha. Listening is just the starting, after that it comes remembrance and contemplation.
From hearing constantly about Krsna with faith comes thinking, feeling, willing.
Knowledge is to know as we are, to know our position as humble servant. This is knowledge, to know things as they are.
