Staying in Vrndavana is purifying tapsya.
HH Lokanath Swami Maharaj
In the pure atmosphere of the Lord’s land, our impurities stand out clearly, like black spots on a white sheet. Out here we see how far we have come in spiritual life and how far we have to go. Yet, this is encouraging, it increases our desire for purification, so that one day we may become qualified to reside eternally in Vrindavana.
Mathura Vrindavan is ‘achuta’ like Lord – infallible, earth could fall we are reading here but not
Mathura Vrindavan, earth may come to end one day but not Mathura Vrindavan.

As you sing, read the songs of Narottama Dasa Thakura all the teachings of the Vedas are there. So they have access to Vedas and all the sastras and we just get a little glimpse of what he is trying to convey, more or less depending upon how much surrendered souls we are, how much purified souls we are, to that degree we understand that song of Narottama Dasa Thakura.

Vrindavan is non-different from Krishna. So staying here is tapasya, which is purifying and the result is anant.
There are ten offenses against the holy name; ten offenses against the dham and this is one of them, to think that Vrindavan is a part of India.
